About Us

We are the Robojacks, and we are a FIRST robotics team located in the frigid northern woods of Bemidji, Minnesota.

All of our team members go to Bemidji High School, and our current coach works in the district to help with district technology.

We currently have around 20 student members in Bemidji Robotics. Our team members have a wide variety of skills including programming, builders, designers, communication skills as well as plenty of other specific individual skills.

With their experiences here, they get a chance to readily and fully apply and expand their skills. This is currently our ninth year with FIRST and we look forward to many more.

What is First?

The Varsity Sport for the Mind®

FRC combines the excitement of sport with the rigors of science and technology. Under strict rules, limited resources, and time limits, teams of 25 students or more are challenged to raise funds, design a team "brand," hone teamwork skills, and build and program robots to perform prescribed tasks against a field of competitors.  It’s as close to "real-world engineering" as a student can get. Volunteer professional mentors lend their time and talents to guide each team.
